Me.
Thank you for taking the time to check out my poetry. Poetry is my passion and these poems are a glimpse into my soul. A little about me – I was born and raised in Toronto, I began writing poetry, fiction and songs from the time I was a child. At night I would hide under the blankets with a flashlight and read for hours, words inspired me in a way nothing else could. Years went by and I went into the business world, leaving my writing behind. After my masters degree I found the corporate world to be empty and I wanted to do something meaningful. I began working with the city helping people towards a better future, now I am back in my element –
With a pen in my hand
And the world as my canvas,
I can share my words once more.

“His soul calling her name,
Until his last breath.”
“For we are more powerful,
Standing on the shoulders of giants.”

Sometimes we know what we have to do, but it hurts so much to leave. It’s not until the pain becomes unbearable that the decision is forced to either lose yourself or lose the person that you love. Tragically no matter which exit you choose, a part of you is forever left behind. ~badpoet. (Pic by @kevseto)

We all start relationships or friendships with great hope and promise, sometimes along the way that essence is lost. That effort gets pulled away, unnoticeable at first – until little by little there becomes nothing left. Then it becomes hard to save, because you can’t save something that is no longer there. ~badpoet.
